Elegy in an Orchid’s Soil by Jerry Xiao



Jerry Xiao, a high-school senior from Collierville, Tennessee, is an alumnus of the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio and the Adroit Summer Mentorship Program. His writing has been published in Crab Creek Review, Cream City Review, and Hayden’s Ferry Review, and has previously been recognized by YoungArts and the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
