Andrzej Sosnowski (b. 1959) is widely regarded as the most innovative and mercurial poet and translator of his generation in Poland. The recipient of many honors, including the 2017 Silesius Prize for lifetime achievement, his poems in English translation have appeared in The Literary Review, Plume, and Lodgings: Selected Poems (Open Letter, 2011), among others.
Benjamin Paloff‘s books include the poetry collections And His Orchestra (2015) and The Politics (2011), both from Carnegie Mellon, and many translations from Polish, Czech, Russian, and Yiddish. His poems have appeared in Conduit, Fence, Guesthouse, The Paris Review, The New York Review of Books, and others.
