Now Open to Submissions for Issue 11

The Los Angeles Review opens to submissions for our eleventh issue today. We welcome submissions of previously unpublished nonfiction, fiction, translations, and poetry, and encourage all authors–whether unpublished, emerging, or established–from all geographic locations–from Los Angeles, the West Coast, the nation, and the world–to submit their work.  This issue is dedicated to John Rechy, whom the Los Angeles Times Book Review called one of the five most important writers to have written about Southern California. Rechy was the first novelist to receive PEN USA West’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement award.

As always, we thank you for the opportunity to consider your work.
